Spanish Spanish has a lot of vocabulary units we do in class and has different activities to practice them.

Digital Dialects is a great resource to practice words and phrases orally. The site teaches you vocabulary words and then has games that says them and you have to understand what they say.

Duolingo is a great program for enhancing learning Spanish. This is the link to the website, but there is also a free app that works great on the iPad/iPhone. Students create an account, take a placement test and they are set to go.

This is the link to the Arizona Department of Education's website for the World Language Standards. Keep in mind that the standards are written based upon the assumption that students have had Spanish every day of school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Since our students have not had that, grade level standards do not match up.
